I've been having problem with my car running too rich this year. Idling/cruising in the 10/11 range. I've swapped MAFs, checked CTS and connectors, installed an adjustable FPR (gauge in cabin reads high), and some other things. Yesterday I was playing around in Data Scan, and started adjusting the A/F Base numbers. I was able to get it down to about 80, and it was running a lot better (12-14 range)
I've also had an idle issue, when coming off the throttle to come to a stop, the idle would dip too low and die, or bounce up and down. When I had the A/F Base set to 80, it didn't do this to me even in the slightest. My chip was made for me by Greg D when I bought my EXP90 kit this winter. Do I have a problem with my tune, or am I just working around the real issue by setting the A/F Base to 80%?? I'd really like to be able to drive around without my laptop in the car this year haha.
